Albatrosa is a London based consultancy specialising in fast analytics and data visualisation. We have forged a network of alliances with leading visualisation software vendors including Qlikview® and Tableau Software®, two of the world’s fastest growing BI (business intelligence) companies, to combine these state of the art tools with world class consulting skills. Our clients are large organisations that generate millions of daily data records. Yet this data is often under-utilised, and users drown in the information and end up with static metrics that management cannot use to improve business. Albatrosa’s role is to create the right management dashboards and generate data-based insights that will help our clients make fast and well informed decisions.

Method

Albatrosa works with clients, mainly in the financial services and telecoms industries, to address business issues by utilising their existing data. Our credibility with clients comes from proven area expertise through our past work at firms such as KPMG*, Accenture*, Atos* and Fair Isaac*.

The services we provide fall into two categories:

  • Visualisation Software: We identify clients’ requirements, define the correct set of tools to suit their needs, deliver the solution and train their teams.

  • Consulting: We work with clients’ business users and IT departments to understand their pain points, deliver interactive dashboards to capture and consolidate data from various sources, and coach their teams. The most valuable part of our work, according to clients, is our ability to help them extract insights from these dashboards, analyse them, identify risk areas, and suggest ways of achieving cost reduction, time savings and other crucial business benefits.
